The Equipment Editor is used to create reusable components. While every Component can be configured in the Vehicle Builder, making a Vehicle Component here and importing it is much more efficient.

Create a new component by choosing the type and subtype if necessary. And the component will show up in the middle.

You must give your component a unique name from any of your other components within the same type. You can change the mesh of the component in the bottom right by clicking the search icon. Under the modelling tab on the right is where you would input the specific properties of the component.

The eye next to properties can be ignored. That is for hiding the properties if you want to share components, however sharing components is only controlled by Tiger Spider.

At the bottom of the page is the Component Changelog.

  • This stores the changes made to the component in case there were any errors in setting up.

On the Vehicle Builder page, the changelog there stores which version of the component was swapped in so if you update a component it will not update on a Vehicle unless you reload a component by swapping it in again (you can replace the same component with itself).
